The 20th Reg’t. Maine Volunteer Infantry is an organization devoted to preserving the history and memories of Company F of the 20th Maine Volunteer Infantry during the American Civil War. Our members actively recreate army and civilian life during this time and adopt personas of real members of Company F or a civilian associated with Company F.
Authentic uniforms, equipment and weapons are used extensively to produce realistic historic programs. Many members are active in first-person living history presentations and participate in numerous parades, muzzle loading target shooting matches, historical demonstrations and regional historical events sponsored by other organizations.
